Lawn Bowls, the Kindred Way

Join us in beautiful Rarotonga from 5 to 12 September 2027 for a very special celebration of lawn bowls, hosted by the Rarotonga Bowling Club.

Lawn Bowls, the Kindred Way, is about putting the joy of the game at the heart of play. Bowls for bowls' sake: friendly, competitive in spirit, and always played for the love of the sport. No cash prizes, no pressure, just the satisfaction of a good shot, good company and competition done right.

This is lawn bowls for everyone. All skill levels are welcome, from casual social bowlers to seasoned players, in a supportive, respectful environment where everyone belongs.

Beyond the green, the Kindred Way is about building friendships and strengthening networks. It's the conversations after a game, familiar faces becoming friends, and a community that is relaxed, welcoming and genuinely inclusive.

Our inaugural 2026 event proved something wonderful: the Kindred Way is enjoyed by bowlers of all abilities. While the competition matters, it is the friendships formed, the laughter shared, the exceptional hospitality of the Rarotonga Bowling Club and the genuine enjoyment of being together that make this experience so unique.

2026 was wonderful. Join us in September and make 2027 even better.

Celebration 2026

What Bowlers said about 2026

Our inaugural 2026 Celebration was a great success. Here's what visitors and Rarotonga Bowling Club members had to say.

We arrived with a group of players, many of whom had never met, or even been to your country, looking forward to some good bowls, sunshine and a great week together. What we experienced was so much more than that.

Visiting bowler, 2026

Your hospitality was exceptional. From the moment we arrived, we were made to feel genuinely welcome. It was clear that you weren't simply hosting a group of visiting bowlers. You genuinely wanted us to feel part of your bowling family.

Visiting bowler, 2026

The friendships, camaraderie, laughter and memories created during the week are what make these occasions so special. Bring on 2027!
